Friends of the Mon @ Speers Run

Friends of the Mon @ Speers Run was formed to promote stewardship in the Speers Run sub-watershed. It is located in the Mid-Mon Valley at Belle Vernon. Speers Run is a small stream that drains directly into the Mon River at I-70. The area suffers from citizen apathy and litter is a big problem. AMD, sewage pollution and more are present as well. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
